Liang Chi group General headquarter is located at No.1, Section 3, Nanjing east road, Zhongshan district, Taipei city, Taiwan. That is the chief hub of foreign and domestic management, sales, production anf technical operation.
This headquarter includes cooling tower business division, miscellaneous business devision, oversea business division and general administrative division. Sales and service department are also setup for the operations of cooling tower, motor, FRP and plastics and management of oversea business subsidiaries. In addition, eight island-wide branch office are setup with assigned salespersons, experiened service personal and excelent technicians to provide quickest and devoted professional services.

Thailand History


Over and above the choice of the cooling tower or the quality of the cooling tower, consideration has to be given to post-sale service. This is due to the fact that if the cooling tower is out of order, it will affect the air condition system, which will greatly affect the production of the industry. Liang Chi realizes the importance of post-sale service, so the company established a service section, comprising of 20 engineer, 40 foremen, over 100 service personnel and experienced employees of the service section, so it is certain that if Liang Chi's cooling tower is chosen, there will be no problem regarding post-sale service.

Our cooling towers are designed and tested in accordance with CTI standards to ensure optimal performance. Combined with our extensive experience, Liang Chi cooling towers can be used, installed, and maintained with maximum ease and durability. With our customized programs, our engineering team is able to accurately calculate, analyze, and evaluate your data to assist you in selecting the most appropriate model for your demands.

Testing Cooling Tower

Liang Chi Group currently has 2 CTI-approved test labs, located in Taipei and Shanghai. Our test labs have been inspected and approved by CTI to officially perform CTI testing. This allows us to constantly develop new models and series and get them tested at the CTI standard to ensure performance before marketing our products.

Replacement Parts

Similar to other pieces of equipment, a cooling tower’s service life can be extended by replacing components instead of the entire cooling tower.

Lining FRP Pipe

FRP lining is the process of covering a surface with FRP in order to protect the surface and increase its service life. Common examples include concrete floors, concrete basins, metal pipes, and metal tanks.

FRP Pultruded

FRP pultrusion is similar to metal structure, but made of FRP via a process of pultrusion. We mostly use FRP pultrusion for our cooling tower structures if required by our customers. However, we can provide made-to-order FRP pultrusion to our customers for your own use.

Repair, Service and Maintenance

As with all equipment, cooling towers and FRP tanks can be repaired and maintained to extend their service lives in lieu of replacing the entire equipment. Here at Liang Chi, we value after-sales service and maintenance/repair projects as highly as we do designing and manufacturing of new products.

CTI Standard 201

CTI STD-201 sets forth a program whereby the Cooling Technology Institute will certify that all models of a line of Evaporative Heat Rejection Equipment offered for sale by a specific Manufacturer will perform thermally in accordance with the Manufacturer's published ratings.

CTI Member

Manufacturer Corporate Members produce Heat Rejection Systems for the industry. A Manufacturer Corporate Member will receive one set of CTI Standards delivered to a preferred location. Additional copies of the CTI Standards can be obtained at a discounted price. Manufacturer Corporate Members will be eligible for all CTI discounts and are permitted to display the official CTI membership logo on any correspondence at each location, while they are members in good standing. A Manufacturer Corporate Member will designate one representative to have voting privileges.

Dirift loss 0.00214% for LD-15 drift eliminater S/N. LD-15002

According to the result of the only tested sample, SERIAL NO. LD-15002, it was verified that the LD-15 Drift eliminator, when insalled in the counter-flow cooling tower, can be operated with the water loss by volume, in compasirison with the circulating water, due to drift loss is 0.00214%. The result was analyzed by Asst.Prof.Dr. Monsal Pimsarn.

KMITL Certificate

  • What is a cooling tower?

    Vital to the heat-exchange process and system, a cooling tower is the mechanism that cools down water, allowing it to be recycled back into the system and reused.

  • A cooling tower cools down water via evaporative cooling. Hot water passes through heat-exchanging fill packs where it meets cold ambient air being pulled through by the fan. This is where evaporative cooling occurs to cool down the water temperature. After which, water will be pumped out of the cooling tower to be recycled back into the heat-exchanging system.

  • In general, there are 3 different aspects of a cooling tower that we need to consider and each aspect has 2 different types. A cooling tower can be made up of any combination of the following:

    Air flow generation
    Induce draft
    Force draft
    Air flow direction
    Cross flow
    Counter flow
    Contact between air and water
    Open type
    Close type

    Induce draft – cross flow – open type = TLC series
    Induce draft – counter flow – close type = LNCM series
    Force draft – counter flow – open type – LVC series
